The Corewar Emulators

Here you will find all the programs needed for playing corewar pMARS is the standard redcode emulator. It should be also used as reference.

SDL pMARS
a SDL Version for Win32, with a nice graphic display for Win2k/XP made by M. Joonas Pihlaja.

CoreWin 2.3
A full-featured, GUI-based Core War simulator for Windows made by Chip Wendell.

RedCoder
A graphical MARS Emulator, incorporating a powerful debugger, which runs under Windows.

Exhaust
A redcode simulator that is (hopefully) easy to embed into your applications, as an alternative to pMARS.

Exhaust-MA
An optimized version of exhaust tweaked by Martin Ankerl.

QMars
QMars stands for Quicker Mars. QMars is heavily optimized to be as fast as possible. Made by Martin Ankerl.

exMARS
exMARS combines the latest advance in corewar simulation technology, with proactive performance optimizations made by Martin Ankerl.

pyCorewar
A Corewar simulator based on Python made by Jens Gutzeit. (archived by the Wayback Machine)

fMars
fMars is a fast simulator for corewars, designed to be easily embedded into optimizers and evolvers made by Michal Janeczek.

A.R.E.S. (Active Redcode Elaboration System)
A.R.E.S. is a MARS for Windows with features including input/output, stacks, and absolute addressing.

nMars
